After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an Executive MBA, Noor sharpened his skills by getting certified in Visual Studio.Net, SQL Server and Visual Basic. During the last 12 years, Noor has become highly specialized in the mortgage industry, developing cutting edge tools and software exclusively for mortgage professionals. He does this by listening to his customers and providing customized solutions for their mortgage needs. Surani has partnered with Awesome Technologies since 2010. He comes with over 19 years of experience in the Software Development field. Surani completed his MBA in MIS after completing his Bachelors in Commerce. He has been involved in design & development of software solutions for medium to large sized industries, retail business management, educational, financial and banking institutions. While working on projects and deadlines he is able to turn-off sleep to make miracles happen. Surani leads the development team of over 20 developers for Awesome Technologies.

Mike Lewis has over 19 years of experience managing and implementing mortgage banking technologies for clients large and small. Before joining the executive team at Awesome Technologies, Inc., Mike worked as a Sr. Implementation Consultant for Ellie Mae, Inc., and prior to that as Vice President of Mortgage Systems at Zions Bancorporation, along with other senior leadership positions within the mortgage industry. Mike has earned a BS degree from Brigham Young University along with his MBA in E-Business from University of Phoenix.

Jackie has been in the mortgage business for over 25 years. Her experience includes Mortgage Servicing, Corporate Training, Branch as well as National Operations, Project Management, and Business Analysis. Jackie worked for Ellie Mae, Inc. as an Implementation Consultant, helping Clients to successfully implement Encompass360. She is very customer focused and works hard to ensure that her Client’s needs are met
SR. BUSINESS ANALYST
Lisa brings over 20 years of mortgage banking expertise and 10 plus years of Encompass Admin experience to Awesome Technologies Inc. Lisa has spent the majority of her Mortgage career in Product Development but has experience as a Loan Officer, Processor and Secondary as well before transitioning to the IT side of the mortgage industry. Prior to joining Awesome Technologies, Lisa was the VP of Software Development for a Mortgage Banker. Lisa graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A in Business Accounting and is certified by Ellie Mae as a System Administrator.
SR. BUSINESS ANALYST
Wesley brings 12 years of IT and database expertise to our team of administrators. Prior to Awesome Technologies, Wesley has worked with larger banking entities as well as smaller shops so he has a working understanding of both ends of the lending spectrum and a variety of operational setups. Wesley is very passionate about troubleshooting and finding solutions to difficult mortgage issues and he has the skillset to determine what problems might occur and how to resolve those issues. Wesley has been an Ellie Mae certified administrator since September of 2014 and one of the first to complete the certification after it was provided.
Chet Exley is an ambitious and optimistic business professional with over 18 years’ experience in the finance, and mortgage industry. Chet is a former Account Manager and Guideline specialist with a background in product eligibility and pricing engines, secondary marketing, consumer direct and point of sale technology. Chet attended University of Houston to obtain a B.A. in Economics and was also a U.S. Marine. Prior to working at Awesome Technologies Inc. he held positions such as Chief Operating Officer, Branch Manager, Sales Manager and Underwriter. As the newest member of the LOS Admin team Chet is working to obtain his Ellie Mae Certified Encompass Administrator designation.
Tami brings over 25+ years of closing experience in the Mortgage industry. Prior to joining Awesome Technologies, Tami worked for Ellie Mae, Inc. as a Sr. Implementation Doc Specialist acting as an Initial and Closing Document Consultant specializing in the training and use of the Ellie Mae products and services. Tami also has previous experience in operation management, processing and funding.
Derek has over 8 years of experience in the mortgage software industry as an account manager, designer, and trainer. He has also worked as a loan officer, realtor, and is a veteran of the US Army.

Sr. Project Manager
Tom Pemberton brings more than 15 years of experience in Project Management and software implementation consulting to Awesome Technologies. As a Sr. Project Manager, he joins the team with a broad background across different industries including logistics and transportation, medical systems, and field service software. Tom graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in Technical Communication. He is happy to be part of the growing Awesome Technologies family.
VP OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Asimhas over 11 years’ experience in the IT Industry in Systems &Management. In those roles he has served as a Project Manager and an Administration Lead. He also has previous experience as a Systems Engineer for a wide network of users. Over the last 10 years Asim has also been very active in community volunteering projects serving as a project and database manager. Asim is also a Certified Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) Member to provide extended support to first-responders. Asim brings with him valuable organization and detail-oriented skills tha is an asset to Awesome Technologiesand its clientele. Asim has previous knowledge in programming along with a Bachelors in Engineering from the Ohio State University.
Aliya brings with her over 12 years of experience in Operations Management. She has previous experience as a Program Manager for 8 years in the non-profit industry and was a Sales Manager for 4 years prior to that. Aliya is responsible for performing a variety of coordinative, analytical, and consultative advisory services. Aliya has a background in Business Administration from the University of Houston and has returned to school to learn more about Computer Science.
Albert is a strongly skilled and experienced CSharp .Net Developer with vast knowledge of a variety of computer technologies. Albert has been a developer for the mortgage industry for the last 6 years and holds 11+ years of experience of working on all 3 tiers of the application facing key challenges on Business and Database layers. He is adept at all aspects of web & windows designing and development as well as technical support.
Jim brings over 20 years’ experience in technology sales with organizations like IBM and SunGard. His background includes Cloud-based solutions, Software as a Service (SaaS), Application Development and Technology Services. He takes pride in helping executives to move forward with solutions that provide the very best outcomes. Jim’s ability to first listen carefully to a client’s needs then match their aspirations with great fit solutions helps start Awesome customer relationships!
Quality Assurance Analyst
Owais Ali has a 10+ years of experience in Information Technology in Healthcare environment. Owais experience comprises of Product & Project Management and Operational Strategies. Owais has Masters of Business Administration in Marketing & Finance, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
Laila is a recent addition to the Awesome Technologies team and has over 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. She promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the software development life cycle. She is responsible for coordinating the activities required to meet the quality standards. Previously, owned and managed her own retail business. Laila has a Bachelors in Strategic Management from University of North Texas and is pursuing continuing education in Quality Assurance field. She takes pride serving the community, has served on a Board for a Trade organization.
Laila Ali is currently an Administrative Assistant at Awesome Technologies Inc. Laila Ali has 10 years of experience in the Administration industry, joined recently to Awesome Technologies as an Administrative Assistant. Previously, Laila worked for Sakom Investment as a purchasing manager, mentoring a team of five people, working with the team responsible for working with different vendors, implementing inventory control procedures, ordering goods, negotiating pricing and working alongside the director to coordinate strategic development and implementation
